I got kicked off facebook. Don't know why.
I'm not going to worry much about it, but for some reason my facebook acc't
has been disabled. They say I violated their standards, but I am quite surprised about that. Probably all for the best anyway. -- Regards, Fred (remove FFFf from my email address to reply by email) |

Yes, I know, there are tons of profiles for pets. I only overheard (over-read?) some of them I have on my friends list saying that FB is sweeping pet profiles and to put a pic with a hoomin as profile pic. Then again, my FB profile has the pic of Laku the cat, but my name... go figure... -- Christine in Finland christal63 (at) gmail (dot) com |

Mine was a Hooman site with a hooman photo, but I have been making some political statements lately, and not on Facebook, but someone may have hacked my page and put up objectionable material in order to discredit me. If so, it's a recognition of a sort and I must assume I'm on the right track, starting to ruffle some feathers. I hope people here know enough of who I am that they won't be taken in if anything like that happens in the future. [By the way, on a different topic, I just want to note that there is a great web site that I just found the other day http://rawgourmet.com/recipes. The food looks scrumptious and must be super healthy, (for hoomans), so I know kitties won't mind my mentioning it. -- Regards, Fred, HC (remove FFFf from my email address to reply by email) |

I won't say what it is, because then I might get blocked or deleted. Maybe there is more than one. Sorry that happened to you Fred. But maybe it was just some glitch. C. |

I got kicked off facebook. Don't know why.
My account was disabled because they believed I was using someone
else's name. When we cleared that up, they reinstated it. I had a lengthy conversation with one of their staff. They said they really don't block for pet photos or for political content, as people believe, but the two main things they block for are (a) if they think you may be using someone else's name or a fictional or ficticious name or (b) if you send too many messages to other people in one day. They told me they didn't care what statements you made or what photo you used. Anyway I had it resolved in about a day. Julie Not sure if this applies to you, but if you had a profile for your pet, and this got disabled, that may be the reason. Yes, I know, there are tons of profiles for pets. They seem to have re-instated me too. A good thing really because a friend
is organising a high school reunion and they are usually a great treat. I'm going to organise my summer holidays about it. Quite different for me. I meet a few people who are very dear to me and I
don't get to see them that often. I'll be playing piano at this one, not all night, just one or two pieces.
