Default Some nice stories (First OT second not)

Firstly I have mentioned Dianne who has lost 3 English Bull Terrier
rescues in a year, 2 close together...she's going to get another
dog...She's already met a possible one-who might otherwise be put down
although he's a healthy dog. She says she has a good home with loving
care and as she said "That's what I can offer for however long we have
together and if it comes to the last visit to the vets...well I know
I've given them a good life while I had them and that's a lot better
than what they would have had otherwise. It's all you can do - good
life and when the time comes let them go knowing how much you gave
them including a peaceful passing"

And now a sad tale- Crystal and Midnight were rescued by the CPL aged
about 8 months from a hoarder, both in poor condition but after a bit
of TLC they got better. No-one knows if they are from the same litter
but they were so close it was decided they could only be re-homed
together. So about a year old they were ready to be adopted but then
had to languish in pens for almost a year, Midnight is so shy and
Crystal so protective they huddled back together in the pen and got
overlooked, finally aftre 6 months they were adopted only to be
returned 4 months later for some reason...they then languished in
their cage for another few months then got adopted to an old guy who
was fine with shy cats but after just a few months he had to go into a
home and they found themselves back in the pens...

Two friends of mine decided to adopt a cat went to a CPL event to find
out what was involved- they had an interview after which they were
told subject to a home visit they were approved oh and by the way
"would you like to look at some of the cats?". It never occured to
them there would be cats but they went and had a look and Crystal and
Midnight were in there and despite being apparently "shy" they ran to
the front of the cage when Andrea looked in their pen so for all their
plans for one cat they couldn't take one they were only up for
adoption as a pair- they decided...she was smitten....after 3 years in
the "system" they arrived at their forever home last Sunday

Those poor babies! I'm so glad they finally got a good home! Obviously
they knew who they belonged with.

And now a sad tale-

You had me waiting for the horrible ending, but this one had a happy
ending. Finally!

Awwwwww... I'm *SO* glad they finally found their true slaves. So sad
they had to wait so long!
