Default Attack Of The Doves!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Normally, when Winter arrives, I put up my plexiglass top gate, so the
neighborhood critters can come on the front porch to get warm and sleep( I
have a heater on there as well) but the garage "swallowed" the
hinges:-(...soooo, until I could get to the hardware store...I put up a
heavy clear plastic sheet......aghhhhhhh...I came in from work a bit ago(
it's way dark outside)...I lifted up plastic and was attacked by doves,
doves, LOTS of doves who decided to roost on the porch...I barely got in the
house...besplattered with dove sh*t and loose feathers!!!!!

I just went back out to gather up all the stuff I dropped when I was
attacked...only to find, more doves had come in...I battled my way to the
gate... opened it and tried shooing the birds out...much to the dismay of my
kitties watching from the windows...I've left the gate open for now, turned
the heater off...hopefully, they all will leave...or else they will find
themselves dinner for the critters...!!!

Note to Self Remember to close gate later and GET HINGES tomorrow!!! :-)

Default Attack Of The Doves!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning I started to go out , only to see I had 15!!! doves roosting on
the porch! I went out through the garage(not easy either...how do we
collect so much CRUD!!!)...I think the doves are coming through the "doggie"
door at the bottom of the door gate :-( Looking in from the front walkway...
my porch DOES look quite a bit like Hitchcock's BIRDS!!!!!!! Agggghhhh!
I've NEVER had this problem in past Winters... :-) Liz
