to say about Cats stalking large game:

Mmmm! All this talk about deer and elk is making me hungry!
Yum!!! I love venison and elk. I ate elk a couple of times when

we were
in Colorado. My MIL couldn't understand how I managed to eat elk

after
watching them running around at the park.
LOL! I love venison. A friend once asked me, "How can you eat

Bambi!!?" I
replied, "In a nice stew with salt and pepper!"

Sounds good to me. I see a deer or elk, I don't think "oh how

pretty",
I think about recipes. :-)

--

Oh, you guys. We spent the day yesterday planting winter peas in the

pasture
behind the house for the deer. They come up in the winter, as many

as eleven in
a herd, and they are just so beautiful it takes my breath away. OK,

I know they
destroy crops. I know they're a traffic hazard. But deer season

starts pretty
soon here, and just wait till I catch a tresspasser hunter. I turn

into the
bitch from hell with no apologies.

Atta girl, Sherry, I'm with you! You and other deer partisans might
like to read what I wrote about Jay-Jay, our close relatives' kitty,
and some friendly deer who visit him on my folks' property.

Don't get me wrong, I love watching deers and elk and all kinds of
critters. I would never kill an animal to eat it, unless I absolutely
had to.

You should turn into a hunter yourself! ;-)

That's cute! BTW, your folks' place looks beautiful. If I was a deer I'd want
to live there too.
