Tooth purrs?
Can I get some lower jaw purrs? I have a tooth that looks well on its way to being abscessed (ew!) and I have not been able to get hold of my dentist! Could I please get some purrs that either my dentist turns up, or this thing just spontaeously disappears? OR maybe both? I just had the stitches removed from my upper jaw on Monday. Not very nice. Hope the abscess isn't one. ;o) -- Marina, Miranda and Caliban. Tooth Update
Well, the purrs are doing something. I have an appointment with my dentist tomorrow-- and the abscess has broke. Ick. But it doesn't hurt anymore. The doc says if I keep rinsing the area until I get in tomorrow, it should be OK. If the abscess has burst into your mouth that's much better than it going into the jaw: that's the really serious one. Keeping the abscess in the mouth open and draining into the mouth until you can get it seen to is the best thing to do. Lots of salt or bicarb rinsing too, as this helps kill off the nasties. Trust me on this - been there, done that! Cheers, helen s |

Going to dentist later anyway, of course. Thanks for all the purrs, everybody!!!!!! Tooth purrs?

Even if it just "spontaneously disappears," please go to the dentist. I've found out to my chagrin that "disappearing" pain doesn't necessarily mean the underlying cause is fixed. -- monique, who spoils Oscar unmercifully pictures: http://www.bounceswoosh.org/rpca |
