Great pix, as usual. Are they recent? Looks like you're having pretty
weather, and beautiful sunrises.

Spring is just around the corner - or so my crew are insisting as they
want out every chance they get.

We've been having wonderful sunny weather the last couple of days, the snow
is melting fast, and the balcony has heated up to +10 C in the mornings,
when the sun shines on it.

Marina captured a pretty sunrise and I managed to catch a beautiful
sunset just through the window next to me on Feb 19.

The weather now tends to go from frosty to thawing and back, making the
snowmush freeze into slippery, lumpy things hard to walk on and stay on
your feet...

I remember taht weather from the late 70s when I was stationed in
Alaska - which also had the most beautiful sunsets/sunsrises I've
seen. Course in the winter you could almost see both during your lunch
hour ;-)

That looks like really beautiful, lush grass that Frank is enjoying. I can
never seem to get my grass to last here. It shrivels up and dies in about 2
weeks, even though I water it plenty. Maybe it's just too hot here for this
Canadian grass? I guess if I had more cats it would get eaten before it had
a chance to die.

This happens with us too, Britta; we'll have growing grass for a week,
lovely yummy grass for a week, and dying grass for a week. Before one
container is quite fully grown I start the next. This is an awfully
expensive habit.

It's hot here where I live too, though the grass does this year round.
I myself think it's a conspiracy. ;-)

How do you get the grass to grow that tall, Marina? Soncek eats it all much
sooner than that.
Best wishes,

Both Marina's sunrise pic and your sunset pic are beautiful, thanks. I do
hope you do not fall and injure yourself on ice.
Best wishes,

I buy it ready-grown from the shop. That was a new pot that I had just
brought home. When I grow grass at home, I sow it in a much larger pot, so
that at least some of it will have time to grow tall before the cats eat it.

Thanks for the info, Marina. Unfortunately I cannot buy it already grown
here in Slovenia. Maybe in the future that will be possible.
Best wishes,
