Tara K. wrote in message ... She died this morning at 6.10am (local time, Western Australia, Monday the 25th of April). SNIPI knew it was coming but it's never easy to let go of an animal you love). I'll be updating the Princess home page some time later in the week, I'm putting together a celebration of her short time with me, but for now I just wanted to let you all know: her fight is over, and she's resting in peace at last. TK Princess home page: members.dodo.com.au/~tara_k/index.html I'm sorry, Tara. It is indeed difficult to let go of beloved animal companions. As others have pointed out though, you gave her love and care at the end of her life, and eased her passage over the bridge. ((Hug)) Melissa |

She was just one of the most amazing gifts I've ever received (I hope this is making some sense, I'm still just a bit stunned, I knew it was coming but it's never easy to let go of an animal you love). Sincere condolances! May Princess find a peaceful path to walk. Purrs to heal that empty space in your heart. Regards and Purrs, O J |

She fought a hard battle against the inevitable for the past two weeks, but ultimately it was just her time to go. She had a very peaceful end, and was in no pain. I'm so sorry to hear this Tara - you did a wonderful thing for her in her last few months. I read her story and watched her video again just now. I am so sorry. Think of this--she spent her last four months being loved, with enough to eat, clean, dry, warm, and with someone who cared for her. She passed peacefully, not scared and starving and dirty and alone. You were as much a gift to her as she was to you. Would we were all so lucky to be so secure at our time to cross. --Fil |

She sounds like she was a tough little girl as well as a little lady, and
know she'll be missed. It's so hard to lose someone so important. But she's in a place where it is always pleasant and catnip is ever abundant, and kids who've never got to meet a wonderful cat in life now have their chance. Many prayers for you, too, to help you through and dig through the pain to find the joy in her memory. Blessed be, Baha "Tara K." wrote in message ... But I feel blessed to have had her share her life with me for that short couple of months, and privileged to have been able to comfort her at the end.
