Default Mr. Fleas' pictures...

I know I'm new to this board; and I guess I didn't want to seem
invasive, but I keep seeing people posting links to their kitties'
pictures. I don't have any links other than my cat's blog, where there
are quite a few decent ones of him, and I frequently add new. So just
in case there are any interested in seeing him, you can take a peek
there. Please don't think I'm just plugging my cat's blogspot, but I
don't know how to post pictures to the group. His profile is very much
like his attitude; and I try to include pictures that are relevant to
the articles, so if nothing else, it'll give you an idea of how he
ticks (or at least how he seems to tick ::grin:: ).

Azy!

"Unfortunately, I once roomed with a cocker spaniel, and she left a
terrible impression of dogs with whomever she met. Her breath was
terrible, she reeked of sebaceous oils, she chewed her haunches
fanatically, and she was a pathological liar. I learnt quite a few
lessons living with her. Firstly, never lay behind a dog who's just
dined heavily from the rubbish bin. Secondly, never leave kibble for
later if there's a dog about. And, most importantly, never, never trust
a cocker spaniel in a balaclava no matter what they tell you." ~~W.C.

Welcome to the group. Your kitties are pretty cute. Just remember that
this group is a cat's group not a dog's group.

He looks like an interesting little guy!

Most folks in this group love to see pictures of each other's cats --
sometimes they even demand them! -- so don't feel you're being invasive. We
don't post pictures here because it isn't a binaries group, so you can
either point us to a web site as you did or post the pictures in a binaries
group (such as alt.binaries.pictures.animals) and point us there.

Welcome to the group!

~~Just remember that this group is a cat's group not a dog's group.~~

Actually, the dog reference is a quote from one'a Fleas' blog articles.
Hairyit (the cocker spaniel in question) has long since departed.

~~Mr Fleas is a gorgeous sleek black cat. ~~

Yep! Thank you. He has an attitude that matches his sleek, black
gorgeousness, too. ::grin::

~~His blog looks interesting, I'll read it when i have~~

By all means; that's what it's there for. I hope you enjoy it. The
articles are posted every Tuesday, and each alternating week he gives
housecat wisdom in the form of an advice column. ::grin::

~~He looks like an interesting little guy!~~

He is. He was a lot'a work in the beginning, but now I can't imagine
life without him! No regrets at all!

~~What a beautiful black boy. :-) ~~

When I first got him I was told that he was a Tuxedo cat. I'm a
Newcastle United fan, and was looking for a black and white kitty.
When I turned up to see him, I took him anyway just to get him away
from the frootloop that had him. He was emaciated, his collar was
growing into his neck, and he was ultra-aggressive. He had this
lovey-dovey streak, though; so I worked really hard to train him out'a
the aggressive shell. He came really close to being put to sleep. I
had agreed to have him euthanised if I couldn't train him out of biting
in another three months (I had worked with him for six months already);
but the last two weeks I finally found a method that worked, and now he
NEVER bites faces, and rarely bites aggressively. On those rare
occasions he has to have serious provocation. He's turned out to be
worth the anti-biotics and ointments I endured to train him. He was
just too abused to trust, but he's very much over it now.
