Called the surgeon's office again... he still hasn't called me back. Called
my PCP's office and asked them to get the test results... haven't heard from them either. My upper stomach is getting more distended, I can't eat, I'm still not going to the potty (after *8* Ducolax in the past 24 hours), the pain is worse. I'm at the point of checking myself into the ER and screaming *SOMEBODY DEAL WITH THIS*!!!! -- Hugs, CatNipped See all my masters at: http://www.PossiblePlaces.com/CatNipped/ |

Don't hesitate. GO. Tweed I have to go to another appointment with a "recruiter" in just a minute, but if I still haven't heard from any doctors by tonight and I'm still in this condition I most certainly will go to the ER. The only problem with that is finances - it costs a *LOT* to go to the ER, even with insurance covering some of it, especially if they don't keep you in the hospital (which is *RARE* for them to do). -- Hugs, CatNipped See all my masters at: http://www.PossiblePlaces.com/CatNipped/ |

Dulcolax is a softener, right? Have you tried the liquid preps, like Fleet's, instead? They have a very different effect. -- monique, who spoils Oscar unmercifully pictures: http://www.bounceswoosh.org/rpca |

It sounds like something has really gone wrong in there, and if I was you I'd stop waiting and get my rear to the hospital and tell them to FIX IT NOW... intestinal blockages aren't anything to mess around with. |

Cat call 911 and go to the ER call your main doctor and tell him you
are going to the ER. The reason I say call 911 if you are brought in by ambulance your are definelty evaluated sooner than later. "CatNipped" wrote in message ... If I were you... I'd get myself into the ER pronto (Damn! the $) It sounds
as if your stomach surgery has caused some problem with your intestines... I have a friend that had a similar surgery,,he developed a blockage that resulted in his waste being excreted outside his Intestinal. track! Damn near died of septic poisoning before he went to the ER(had stomach swelling, pain in his lower back and stomach, bowel issues, and was queasy):-) Liz "CatNipped" wrote in message ... My dad had the same problem Liz describes and almost died even though he got to the ER pronto when the pain started. -- monique, who spoils Oscar unmercifully pictures: http://www.bounceswoosh.org/rpca |

No, I took *3* stool softners last night and 3 Ducolax (which is a stimulative) and then *4* more Ducolax this morning. I figure if I go to the hospital, downtown, that is associated with the surgeon's clinic (and where I actually had one of the tests done) they would be able to get the test results. The surgeon did call, but I was in an interview and had my phone turned off and he is *supposed* to call back! -- Hugs, CatNipped See all my masters at: http://www.PossiblePlaces.com/CatNipped/ -- monique, who spoils Oscar unmercifully pictures: http://www.bounceswoosh.org/rpca |
