And people buy cat beds?
My local shops whilst being pretty good for most things tend to be
expensive for toiletries and cleaning things so I do a big shop in Stratford for those every month. There is a branch of "Wilkinsons" there and they are much more reasonable so I go to get things like shower gel, kitchen towel etc Anyway yesterday as Jim the Gardener came round I left the carrier bag in the bedroom intending to unpack it later...then I walked into the bedroom and found the contents all over the floor I assumed it had fallen over so I picked the bag up intending to put it under the sink...It was however surprisingly heavy then got a lot lighter as Sarsi shot out from inside it she had obviously emptied it and got inside. I left out and this morning she was curled up inside it again And people buy cat beds? Lesley Slave of the Fabulous Furballs |

They collect bits of dust. And they demonstrate where your cats aren't when you can't find them. Jo |

I've discovered that Leila will use hers if I put it where she can see me from it. Incidentally, I've also discovered that she is much calmer in the cat carrier if it's turned sideways so she can see me. Apparently, she doesn't really care where we're going.... The easiest way to distract Harley away from the groceries is to toss the
empty paper sack to the corner of the kitchen. The resulting "kitty cave" is irresistable. I have a folded towel draped over a small printer table to the left of my desk, and she sleeps there while I'm working. Often with a paw resting on top of mine. So mouse pad to the right of my keyboard, and cat pad to the left. :P |

Isis (RB) used to open the door to the cupboard under the sink and make herself a nest by rearranging the carrier bags. This was the cat that built her own luxury penthouse on top of the fridge as well- we think she might have been a property developer in a previous life Lesley Slave of the Fabulous Furballs |

Baird Stafford wrote: In article , Lesley wrote: And people buy cat beds? Well, yes, when we prefer to have our carrier bags available without having to dump out a cat. Baird Really? My house is equipped with several cat beds (as well as cat-trees and other furniture designed for felines). I have yet to make the acquaintance of any cat who will not promptly make for any carrier bag that appears! (Although mine usually wait until the bags are empty.) |

Lesley Slave of the Fabulous Furballs Oh I stopped doing that, especially when the BF moved in. All of this stuff that is remotely comfy gets inspected, kneaded and then turned into a bed. The cats love to sleep on his kilts that are piled in the corner. Mischief will blatantly walk onto one and settle down right in front of him. One time he put his face close to hers and said, "mischief, we talked about being on my kilt, didn't we?" She avoided looking him in the eye, and just streeetched. Once he left his denim kilt on this couch and all three cats took turns sleeping on it. They ended up creasing it and covering it with cat fur. Any clothing of mine that's discarded on the bed automatically attracts a cat. Kristi |
