Default Emily and Max

As Mr Peabody reported earlier, he and Max are already best buds. Emily's
been pretty good about the newcomer, reserving her hisses for when he
attempts to get between her and her food dish, or when he comes up on the
bed - mostly she keeps her distance, and he doesn't push his luck.

Today was different.

Today Emily was hanging out on the bed, and Max came into the bedroom. He
put his front paws on the bed, and Emily sat up and gave him a look. But no
hiss. Max repeated the action and got the same response. After a few
rounds of this, Max got bold. He leapt onto the bed, mere inches from
Emily. She pulled back from him a bit, but still didn't hiss. So he
settled on the bed a short distance away from her, and the two of them hung
out together, just like old friends.

I'm so proud of them both!

That's wonderful progress, Brenda! Scritches to them both for being so good.
