Default Warmer weather

A sure sign of warmer weather... Waffles out in the garden in the morning and
within minutes I hear "MMMOOOWWZZ!" quickly followed by a small dead rodent
being dropped at my feet. Obviously she thinks I require protein for breakfast.
Yesterday's breakfast offering was a mouse. This morning's is a shrew.

Not bad for a one-eyed cat the vet said would not be able to catch mice again
;-)

Cheers, helen s

You won't go hungry. Waffles has a real work ethic.

Indeed, I'm sure I could be a dab hand at sauteed mouse ;-)

Cheers, helen s

The vet must have forgotten to tell Waffles this! He sounds like such a
character.

Frank is swelling with pride over his lady, and Nikki is watering at the
mouth at the thought of fresh mowsie, or rather vole, which is what she
mainly hunts on the island. She'll have to wait another couple of months,
poor girl.
