Callie relocates to RB
Callisto "Callie" Clark aka Callie Co-Cat, aka Pufftail Princess, was
assisted to the RB this morning. She had been diagnosed with mammary cancer in Jan. '07 and it had lately spread to her lungs. She arrived into our lives in a dramatic fashion. A garbage bag was thrown out the window of a passing car into the ivy bed across the street. The neighbor children (now in college!) saw the bag move, opened it, and out popped a perky longhaired little calico. They brought her to my husband and the rest is history. Callie's life was all about the fun. She would never walk if she could romp and would dive and roll at visitors' feet, merping to get a belly rub. She played with Finrod and Scottie-Pippin as though she was not at least 15 years older than they are. We will miss her terribly... Callie Co-Cat, won't you come meow tonight, Come meow tonight, come meow tonight, Callie Co-Cat, won't you come meow tonight, And we'll dance by the light of the moon. Meowmie Eileen, for Paw, Mia, Camille, Finrod & Scottie-Pippin |

She is beyond pain and fear and probably having a fine old time. But she doesn't want you to be unhappy. She will romp at the Bridge till you join her and after that as well. -- Will in New Haven, Micki, a hoomin, WooToo, Maggy May, Sunrise, Missy and Bear, a d*g Cuddlesleep is special Every hour counts as two And cuddlesleep is good for you. |

A very grateful thank you to all who offered condolences for Callie.
Still listening for her characteristic merp and excited chatter and waiting for her to jump up and sit beside my computer. Can't seem to stop. Anyway, here is a link to an old picture of her. She looked pretty much like this all her life with us: http://homepage.mac.com/catrunr/ Eileen |
