Since Frank died, and Baha gave me the tip about her friend who carried
a vial of his mother's ashes around his neck, I've been searching for a
suitable vessel to put the remains of Frank's ashes in (I saved a little
bit that I didn't scatter on the island). I finally found it, and it
really makes sense now that I thought of it. I couldn't find another
pendant that would hold the ashes, and I felt that those scent pendants
were too large.

I had to ask at several stores, but then I found a pet shop that carried
them - those little pendants for cats and dogs in which you can put a
piece of paper with your contact info on. I bought one, and got a chain
for it from another shop. I will have to look for a shorter but thicker
chain at some point. I had a little ceremony yesterday where I poured
some of Frank's ashes into the pendant and hung it about my neck.

I don't know, maybe this sounds morbid to some, but this pendant really
makes me very happy. I'll never be apart from my darling Frank again. I
wish I had saved some of Nikki's ashes.

That looks rather similiar to what is sold in the USA for holding
nitroglycerine tablets. You can find such pendants at most drug
stores. I now use a somewhat larger one which can contain an entire
vial of nitroglycerine tablets, as the small vial proved to be
somewhat tricky to get open once sweat had corroded the screw threads.
I can get a better grip on the larger vial. However, I haven't had
any angina for months now, and haven't had to take any nitro tablets.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's a nice looking small pendant.
You could wear in on a chain around your neck so Frank could stay
(literally) close to your heart.

Thank you, Sam. That is how I'm wearing it.
