He's better, but still wary. He will play with me with the fuzzy
tasselled ball on a string (gotta order more of those!!) and will bat
at my fingers sometimes if I waggle them at him. He will stand and
stare solemnly at us instead of running away immediately, but doesn't
usually want to get too close.

I pet him some when he's too sleepy to protest, but it's sooooo hard
to let him set the pace and not just swoop him up and smooch him to
pieces! ;-)
