Zoom Groom
One of you delightful cat slaves mentioned this magical invention in the
group. Leading our Mommy to buy one at Petsmart yesterday. She was surprised at how easily it fits into her arthritic hands, and how well it collects the fur it removes. She said something about a whole new cat that we didn't care for, but we agreed to run it off if one arrives. I have never had so much fur brushed out at once. And it felt so good. Mommy kept complaining that I was stretching out and dragging myself too far away to reach but I just couldn't help it. She even brushed around my neck and my tummy and all kinds of places she usually skips. I went outside for a while but the temptation was too great. Had to go back for another round. Molly liked it too, but not as much. Then again I think she is feeling poorly. I told her not to go spend all her time in the weeds in the vacant lot across the street in the spring. It makes youreyes and nose itchy. There's plenty of zoomie things to chase in the back yard. She does seem to be catching more things that are fun to play with and some that taste good too. I'm gonna figure out how she makes them quit moving one of these days. ANyways, I love our Zoom Groom. And so does mommy and so does Molly. Jake the Meezer |

Jake the Meezer I'm glad I could recommend it to you Jake (I swear...four cats + zoom groom = bitty made purely of fur...) found this in the back of a knitting magazine: http://www.vipfibers.com/ you can have your pet's fur spun into yarn knit or crochet a sweater out of it and they can always be with you! or knit/crochet a pet fur toy for integrating a new pet? -- Elise (supervised by Gossamer & Jeeves) pics: |
