Default Speedy svcared the bad mans

Those of us who know Speedy, the d-thing, know that there is a healthy
dollop of chicken in his ancestry. It is not unusual for him to act
as though various people are out to get him. This often gets him a
lot of sympathy, or the object of his fear tries to convince him that
they are not the bad guy and Speedy ends up with trts and pettins.

This morning Mike saw someone crossing the front yard and aiming for
the back gate. He decided that Speedy could use a laugh and let the
dog out. Speedy was very amused (you could tell he was laughing,
honest) and the bad mans we didn't want in our yard ran away from our
yard and down the street. Hours later and Speedy is still laughing.
