I learned how to hiss -- not very well, but enough for a cat to
recognize it as a hiss. The first time I did it, I got a puzzled look
from the cat, as in "I didn't know humans knew how to hiss." Of course
I *only* hiss when it's appropriate, usually in response to being hissed at.
