Default I got to visit Caboodle Ranch

This weekend I drove down to Florida to drop off some donations at
Caboodle Ranch (http://www.caboodleranch.com). I've got to say, I was
impressed with what they're doing before I went there, but having seen
the place first-hand I'm even more impressed.

They have a lot of cats living there, receiving excellent veterinary
care, living in a beautiful setting and getting all the love and
attention they can handle. And the residents of Caboodle Ranch don't have
time limits placed on their stay; once a kitty is taken in at Caboodle
Ranch they have a loving home for life.

Their gingerbread houses and kitty dorms were cute as well as being well
designed and offering insulation, the air-conditioned trailers have cat
doors cut into the doors and ramps leading from the ground to cat flaps
in the windows, and the tree houses were a very clever idea.

When I opened some bags of Temptations kitty treats I was quickly
surrounded by purring, meowing, ankle-rubbing kitties. It was quite a
treat!

Craig's daily routine includes administering antibiotics to those cats
who need them, administering fluids to those who need them, etc. I admire
the man for his dedication to cats, but can't imagine having that deep a
dedication to them.

I know that in the future I'm going to make donating to Caboodle Ranch a
priority.

I envy you your visit. It's a very long way from where you live isn't it?

I know that I'm going to do my best to plan some vacations down that way
so I can volunteer some time to them. And one of the orange kitties there
is a polydactyl, and just *loves* tummy rubs, so I'm going to have visit
to keep his tummy-rub needs satisfied

Nope, our landlord only allows our current count of critters. Besides, as
cute as some of the kitties at Caboodle Ranch were, none of them were as
cute as the 4 who have agreed to share their lives with me.

Just for the afternoon. I had to catch a plane back in the early evening.
