No wall allowed, even though they tried to force the issue by not letting me
my car out. I had to go to the expense of installing a drop kerb which was
£1400 - although the drop kerb in front of their house was supposed to be
shared.
Consequently, we loath each other.
Me because I will not be blackmailed, and them because they didn't get their
own way.
The issue of the wall they've had built at the end of their garden that
encroaches into mine, I've taken legal advice on, and it's not worth the
expense of disputing it.
However, the man who sold them the house and plot thinks they "might" have
built their end wall over into his land. What a surprise! He intends to
get it measured soon and he has told them if it is one inch over what he
sold them, the wall will come down. That will save me the trouble.

Ditto! From the sounds of it, they would have taken more than an inch.
They seem to think they're entitled.

Me too! although he does take a while to act. It took him weeks to start
cutting up his tree that had fallen over on to my orchard, and even now it's
not completed to my satisfaction. But hey..I'm not going to say anything
about that just yet ;-)

They are just not nice people, Jill. They have also annoyed the original
vendor, Roger, by throwing rubbish over their back wall on to his land.
How does he know it isn't me doing it kind of sideways? Probably because
some of the plastic stuff has Gujarati script on it.
They will never fit in here, because they are noisy, try to take advantage
and just all round. bad. Did I tell you how, when I had a broken leg and
was home for two hours to see Boyfie, they came round with a document for me
to sign, allowing trees down too and side wall at the front straightened
out. Roger gave me that little bit of land when he sold the plot which is
why the wall is at an angle.

I read the document. Pfff, they must think I am stupid.

I never said anything about it to my other neighbours so I am quite at a
loss as to why they were not invited to the 60th Jubilee celebration party!
where a fabulous time was had by all. I even danced.
It's such a pity, we could have been friends but the minute they started
blocking my car in unless I agreed to their 6 foot 6 inch wall 3 feet away
from my side kitchen window it just was not possible.

If Roger finally decides to get round to measuring it and it's over the
boundary, he will give them a chance to take the wall down themselves and if
they don't I know he will demolish it himself (he's a builder) and charge
them the money for it.

I'd really like that.

Not like I am bitter or anything, eh? However when I get the terriers they
always do a poo which has not yet been thrown into their garden.
I always say to the terrier men, let your dogs out to wee & poo before they
come but they never do.
I suspect that they are kept in cages, as Jess, one of the most brilliant
rat catchers killed a puppy. I do not blame her as she has been bred to kill
everything.
I would not trust any of them as a house pet but that's not what they are
for.
