At least that is how I've felt over the past five days. I have been suffering some type of flu type virus that included upper respiratory, headache and gastric disorders. I had a fever over the weekend and basically have spent my days since Saturday in bed asleep. Of course the kitties took turns watching over me and helping to keep my feet warm. I am trying to catch up now and have scanned the headers and hit the requests for purrs (which are on the way), checked on Hazel's progress (hugs coming your way Hazel) and all the kitten's in the group (scritches to Weebles, and B&C and all of Lois' babies and Fez and Taz). I think Bruiser has made it past baby stage but he gets skritches as well. Anyhow, purrs to everyone that needs them. Yowie, I have a question. I'm sure some of us would like to send wedding wishes but I suspect you aren't in need of the usual "new household" wedding type gifts. Are you registered anywhere that we can access or do you have a favorite store we can go to to purchase a gift card? (Electronic/gaming stores included). Julie, Hobbes, Selena and Lacey To everyone who has this crud and those who may get it. It is serious. If you get it please slow down and take care of yourself. I got it about a month ago and just the other day I got out of the hospital. Mine went to pnuemonia and I was told I almost bought the farm. I am feeling much better now but please take care of yourself if you get it. Bob |

It is extremely nice of you and very touching that even now that you are
going to have *your* day, you are thinking of people and animals less fortunate than you. Soncek and I wish you, Joel and Yowlet all the very best, -- Polonca & Soncek "Yowie" wrote in message u... snipAlthough far from "rich" by modern Australian standards, we are undeniablely "comfortable" and there are many more souls out there (furry and bare) to whom the price of a toaster or towel set could literally make the difference between life and death. Not that we'd be at all ungrateful for anything that does come our way, but there are other people who are in far more need of your genosity than us. The best thing we could get from RPCA & Catslave folk are your best wishes and purrs, and I know we've got those already. Yowie |

I'm up for the first day of having the same or similar illness, Julie. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I came down with it on Monday, and am still feeling weak, but should be over it soon, I hope. The only reason I got up at all today was that I had to get some stuff taken care of now, it had waited too long already. Pam S. Try to get the cats into nurse kitty gear! They all refuse to wear the uniforms. QC says that she would look like a female Maine Coon version of Mr. Tinkles in the movie "Cats & D*gs." They have all watched this movie multiple times to figure out where the cats went wrong. Pam S. |
