Am I supposed to be pleased?
Sorrrieeeee, Never smoke them in public...NEVER. As I am now single, when
introduced to someone and we begin to talk about ourselves, it seems my friends show up with a man in tow, If I know this is not a good match, I bring out the humidor and when asked, tell them this is my own, that usually ends the evening. Its not like I have one stuck in my face all the time. I love the smell and wished someone around me smoked them. "Lesley" wrote in message ... I'm the same with pipe smoke as long as it;s a decent blend. Yes, it is a test and I have a friend who says she hates to me get up and
pick up the humidor! I am leaning I like only about three or four kinds. If anyone would ever say, Oh they are yours, it would at least get them a second look. I am not holding out much hope around here. I know I am not that special but, I will never change completely for anyone again. That may be me being alone with the cats but, they are nicer than some people. At least if I spill something, or run into something they never yell "watch where you are going" knowing full well I can't!! "Lesley" wrote in message ... I just clipped the cats nails and from the looks of that last post, need to
do my own! "Granby" wrote in message ... Yes, it is a test and I have a friend who says she hates to me get up and pick up the humidor! I am leaning I like only about three or four kinds. Cross fingers everyone!
Dave thought about going down the "Half Moon" for Sunday lunch for all of 20 seconds then saw the get out clause. We'll need to get a cab there and back so by the time we've paid transport costs and had lunch that's twenty odd quid so wouldn't it make more sense to just stroll up to the "Bells" after I have cooked lunch? Okay says I happening to have some tasty ideas for pork chops....althought the sage and onion mash was voted the highlight since neither of us can stand mustard that much (I can tolerate Dijon mayo Dave can't stand mustard in any form if the water from the fountain of youth had even a hint of mustard he'd age naturally) So then we get to, does he really need to wash his hair? Called his bluff and said no even through it does need doing but I just know he'll say it's too cold for him to do that and then go out. We then graduated to walking round the block and then the pub, which then became since the distance to the pub from here is about the same as walking round the block let's go straight to the pub. I've managed to use my ace "you wouldn't want to undo all the good work Claus and Fiola have done would you?" and he agrees not so in theory we are having a beer then he'll get changed and we'll go down the "Bells" just for the one, you understand since we have to sit outside. He's already saying he can't get his feet cold, they really should have thought of that etc (and my suggestion he wear socks got a reply about how sensitive his feet are he can't wear them). And it's getting dark so the excuses should start coming soon- I'm waiting for his ace"But you have to get ready for work tomorow", to which the counter is "it's only five so if we really are only staying for one I have plenty of time" Hope to post after we get back or maybe from work tomorrow if we really do have a good time just hope I am not posting in another half hour or so to say "He ain't going out" Lesley Slave of the Fabulous Furballs |

I'm just reading this 2 1/2 hours after you posted it. I don't see anything
later from you, so I'm hoping that is a good sign. -- Joy Don't believe everything you think "Lesley" wrote in message ... Am I supposed to be pleased?
Granby wrote: I hear there are men out there who believe that when they get married, that the woman still remains herself, with including him in her life but, I don't see a lot of it. Certainly few from MY generation! Although I think the younger ones are a bit more open - maybe it comes from living together BEFORE marriage. (If either partner can back out without a lot of legal hassle, it makes mutual consideration of each other's priorities more common.) |
