ROFL! 'Are you kidding me?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????' Hehehe. I love how
the one cat walks away and stretches at the beginning, like, 'nothing to
do with me.'

Obviously, two cats whose mother or mothers never taught them to hunt.

I was once eating supper at my parents' house, and looked down to find a
mouse under my mother's chair, eating a crumb. I pointed the mouse out
to my parents; the mouse ignored us. I called their cat into the
kitchen, and she walked past the mouse to her food dish, looked up, and
meowed. I finally had to pick up the cat and turn her around to face the
mouse, at which point she pounced on, killed, and ate the mouse.

So, she had been taught, but was a bit slow on the uptake.

And those cats have no interest! LOL

Shhhh, don't tell Weebs but Persia is afraid of mice. Several years ago I
woke up one morning and Persia dashed to the kitchen as usual (her food was
in the pantry). She stopped abruptly and refused to go in. What's wrong,
girl? Is it a [cat]burglar? She looked at me from the doorway and sort of
squeaked. I flipped on the light and looked. There was a dead mouse on the
floor. (Apologies to Cheryl but this wasn't a pet mouse.) Persia
absolutely refused to enter the kitchen until I'd disposed of it. She'd
probably run and hide if she saw a live mouse running around.
