Default Tallulah! (long, but kitten pics!)

Guest Cat has a name. She is officially Tallulah. I don't know why
that suits her, but it does.

This afternoon, Tallulah came for a little visit, and when I let her
out she wanted me to go with her, looking back and mrrping and waiting
for me. I followed her to the storage building where she and the
kitten live and sat down, and she called out her kitten. She gave him
a nuzzle and me a headbutt, and then walked around the corner of the
building and curled up in the shade. It couldn't have been more clear
if she'd said it in English - she wanted me to babysit while she had a
nap! I played with the kitten for a while by poking a twig under the
door for him to swat, but since he won't venture out unless Mom is
there, to anyone observing it just would have looked like I was
sitting by myself, poking a stick under the door of the building.
Even in furtherance of socializing this kitten I don't want to look
like *too* much of a lunatic, so eventually I woke Tallulah and told
her I was leaving, and she'd have to mind her baby herself. :-D

I went back a bit later, this time preparing for the trip by taking
toys and the camera. I took the attachment for the Panic Mouse, which
all the kitties loooove so long as it is being operated by a human and
not attached to the Panic Mouse itself. I was able to entice little
Clementine/Hubert (I am no good at sexing kittens - until I know which
name is appropriate, perhaps I should call the kitten Clembert) out
for a few photos, and I actually got to pet him a couple of times. He
flinches from my hand, but once I actually *am* touching him he
realizes it's not so bad.

Pics of pretty Tallulah and sixteen-day-old Clembert can be seen in
the Guest Cat folder in RPCA Photos, or as Steve Touchstone so
eloquently put it:

Aww! Tallulah considers you another female cat since she wanted you to
babysit her kitten. Nice name, and I like Clembert, too. ;o) The Photo page
was unavailable now, will take a look later..

Aaaaaw! Guest Kitten is adorable :-) So's Tallulah of course. I am amazed
that the kitten is only 2 weeks old! Wow! I'm thinking it's most likely a
boy then and he's gonna be a big'un!
I like the name Tallulah too, perhaps you should consider naming the kitten
Rumor or Scout ;-)
