If he shows up, that's it!!! I can't take his disappearing acts anymore. He left in the middle of the night last night and I spent about 3 hours searching for him this evening, worrying half to death. He ordinarily returns by no later than midnight. Not tonight. And meowmie cannot sleep. It's just been too damned hot at night to keep the door shut. Well, at least tonight if he shows up during the night he'll be able to get in. I love that cat too much Darn, the things they make us go through, eh? We will purr and pray that Abelard makes it home really soon and that you give him a good talking to, not that would stop him! Rocky has been wanting to stay out overnight lately, too. I wonder if it's because the weather has been nice (we're in SW Oklahoma). He was being about coming in and not being interested in going back out. Now he shows up here about 9PM, comes in for some petting, eat a bite, and wants to go back outside. but once he's inside I keep him in until the next morning. Last night he didn't want back out, and sure enough a storm came through and we received over an inch of rain. -- Steve Touchstone, faithful servant of Sammy, Little Bit and Rocky [remove Junk for email] Home Page: http://www.sirinet.net/~stouchst/index.html Cat Pix: http://www.sirinet.net/~stouchst/animals.html |

Gosh I hope you find him Pat. maybe you could get a small room air conditioner for just one room for everyone to hang out in during the summer. Purrs that he comes home. |
