Job purrs on the way.
Ann -- read Sam's blog at http://kittens-3.blogspot.com/ see pictures of Sam at http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/ann791/my_photos "Sam Nash" wrote in message ... "Singh" wrote in message ... Monday I have two interviews for different positions within the bank, and I'm freaking. Two interviews before I have to go into the cesspool called the customer service office. I am so anxious to get out of there i could scream. I'm dying for a nice quiet job in my own little cubie where all I have to do is shuffle papers and put them into something resembling order. The noise in the phone room is near deafening, and it is chronically understaffed. I have mandatory overtime the next several weekends, because of so many taking vacations now. Purr for me, please! I need a new job. Something where I'm working days. Something where I can see my husband somewhere other than in the car along the thruway, and actually see my friends for coffee instead of making plans that never materialize. Help!!! Blessed be, Baha Purrs that one of them turns out to be the purrfect job for you, and that the bank recognizes it. Sam, closely supervised by Mistletoe |

"Monique Y. Mudama" wrote in message ... Many, many job purrs incoming. Also reassuring, confidence-building purrs for your interview. At the risk of stating the obvious, you want to sound like you're eager to work at this new job, not eager to get away from the old one. Many thanks... and you're right. I am more concerned about getting out of the phone bank: referred to as the sewer, the cesspool, or the Thames Embankment. (For you Rumpole fans, the coffee there is our Chateau Thames Embankment!) To be truthful, I had no idea of what the jobs were, even. I knew only that they were in a department where I'd temped for several months before being hired for customer service, so I jumped at them like cat upon mouse. I've been a bucket of nerves; I'll find out in the next day or so if i can move on. Our summers are so short. I'd love to have a position where there is less mandatory overtime and I can actually enjoy the few weeks of good climate we get. Blessed be, Baha -- monique, who spoils Oscar unmercifully pictures: http://www.bounceswoosh.org/rpca |

"Charleen Welton" wrote in message ... I didn't read this until Monday! We're purring up a storm that your interviews are going well. When will you know if you got either job? Purr, purr, purr, purr, purr, purr! Charleen, Mr. Pumpkin, Aggie Marble, Victor Velcro I figure by WEdnesday. They're looking to fill both positions PDQ. They're with different departments, but the functions are similar to the wire transfer stuff I did with Citibank before they took my job overseas. I just had a nasty rejection last week on an interview, so I'm kind of raw right now. I think they went well though. I'm going to go bite my nails now... Blessed be, Baha |
