My cat Isis will often turn and arch her back to me and lift her tail. It
indicates to me that she loves and trusts me while at the same time wants
attention. I think she just wants your husband to give her a bit of
attention so just enjoy it.

om...
we have a 1 1/2 year old maine coon female who flirts with my husband!
it's very sweet but i've never known a cat to do this. she'll come
stand right in front of him, arch her back and shake her tail while
chiriping and meowing and then she flops over on the ground and rolls
on her back. is this flirting? she's a complete drama queen with me
but just absolutely in love with him. has anyone ever seen this in a
girl cat?

Oh yes! We call her the girly-girl. Thats's how she got herself
adopted from the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago. Crawled right into
his lap, purred and then rolled over and grinned. He said "this cat"
LOL

LOL, Tracy. We call Bootsie "Girly-girl" too. She's just so prissy and bossy!
