Ha - if I lived on ricecakes and tofu, Smudge would want some

of
the ricecakes!

Adding to my post, this reminds of another dog story. I once went
to the beach with a friend and we each brought our own lunch. I
had some sort of super-healthy veggie dish that had tofu in it.
While we ate, a dog came up to our blanket, drawn by the sight of
us eating, no doubt, and began sniffing around for a handout. So I
scooped out a piece of tofu and gave it to the dog. I've lived
with dogs, and I know that they eat *everything*, so I figured
this dog would inhale the tofu. But it just sniffed it and walked
away. My friend, who was not at all into health food, used that as
an opportunity to laugh at me: "See, even a dog knows better than
to eat tofu!!"

Gurk. It's just plain WRONG to use the words "tofu" & "food" in the
same sentence! A cartoon on its way to you...

On the other hand, I have known dogs that enjoyed eating tofu. I
have never tried giving any to a cat, so I don't know what results I
would get.
