What did I expect??

Hi All,

While we're all waiting for kitten updates, let me tell you about my
trip to the store.

The main reason I went to the market was kitty crunchies. We had been
reminded all morning by most of the brood that the crunchie bowl was
empty. At the store, I loaded up on goodies, much to the delight of
DH who got served munchies in bed. The kitties, however, were another
matter. What had formerly been a matter of life and death suddenly
became a matter of no great import. It seems that as long as there
are crunchies in the bowl, there's no great rush. It was half an hour
before any of the little rotters sat down to scarf some.

What did I expect??
