I got Flowers! (OT)

John sent me flowers! Today is a milestone. I'm 50 years young

Persia is chasing rainbows created by the water-filled glass prism hanging
in front of the door. I twirl it around on the filiment it hangs from; the
effect on the floor is like a disco ball. LOL She has a blast trying to
catch the moving rainbow spots

Ooh, happy birthday! I'll be there in a few years, hubby said it was
a relief to get to that age (his dad had died when he was 49).

Does Persia leave your flowers alone? My Barnabus (RB) used to eat
them, then throw up all over the house (he ate the leaves off the
roses).

A friend sent me a rose once, with balloons attached (tied to a little
wooden stake). I had taken the balloons out of the vase, and had them
"floating" in the corner... Marley (my fraidy cat) decided he wanted
that stick, so went over (really r--e--a--l--l--y slowly), watched the
balloons the whole time. Grabbed the stick and ran.

Imagine, if you will... Running H*ll Bent for Leather, with this
absolutely terrified expression on his face, because ...

OMG!!! He wouldn't let go of the stick though. Another time I
regretted not having the video camera on, that was the funniest thing
I ever saw.

Smokie Darling (Annie) - yes, I took the stick off the ribbons and
gave it to him to play with. Wasn't as fun when it didn't float in
the air though.
