She won't eat the cat grass!
I bought a special pot of cat grass for Persia and it's about 5 inches tall
now. She has sniffed at it but she won't eat it. I'm not sure if this is because she knows not to eat my other couple of houseplants and thinks she'll get in trouble if she does or maybe she just doesn't like cat grass. I'll give it another few days and then if she doesn't like it I'll toss it, I guess. Jill |

But he won't eat the cat grass and still goes after my plants. So now I am down to only 3 plants. Winnie |

I got a very nice pot of daffodils for Easter, but Doc tried to eat them the minute I brought them through the door. Yesterday he managed to climb all the way up to the high shelf I'd put them on, so I took them out and gave them to my neighbor, a great gardener. He doesn't speak English, though, so I went to babelfish to find the Spanish for 'These are for you. With me, they die, with you, they live.' :-) Chak -- At least two-thirds of our miseries spring from human stupidity, human malice and those great motivators and justifiers of malice and stupidity: idealism, dogmatism and proselytizing zeal on behalf of religous or political ideas. --Aldous Huxley |

By the way, Oscar doesn't eat her cat grass, but she does get quite interested in it sometimes. I think, much like any other "toy" (all the world's a toy to a cat), sometimes they will ignore something for quite a while, even months, and then all of a sudden they can't live without it. -- monique, who spoils Oscar unmercifully pictures: http://www.bounceswoosh.org/rpca |

Try it a few times. Does she prefer catnip? MLB |

That's how I get my cats interested in cat grass when they've gotten bored with it. Joyce |

Tweed I trimmed a bit and put some on her crackle sack. She rolled around on it and then ate it. She still hasn't figured out it's the same stuff in the pot on the window-sill, but she's not stupid. She will figure it out Jill |
