Default Update on 'stinky' stray

I called into PACT yesterday morning to collect the humane trap. The litte
grey kitten is still with us. He's with the vet still, on a drip still. As
soon as he eats something there's explosive stinky stuff expelled from his
rear. So it's a question of identifying what is causing that & putting it
right, but he is still very much with us. Which is, I think, a good thing.

I was wondering what had happened to the little lad. Purrs that TED
can get on top of what is making the little lad so ill. Even more
serious purrs that he makes a good recovery and ends up in his forever
home.

Sometimes the little strays have eaten so much garbage that their little
digestive systems need some time to settle down. And of course, they can
have parasites. That was certainly the case with *my* Stinky. Purrs for
the little fellow to recover quickly and start down a good road. Remember,
the best cats can have stinky beginnings.

So glad to hear he's still with us! He probably has a belly
full of things that shouldn't be there. Hopefully as those get
flushed out, his system will settle down. Hazard had all sorts
of digestive problems when I rescued him.

Meanwhile, purrs aplenty continuing for him to get better quickly
and find himself a nice forever home!

Came into this late, but congrats on catching the little guy. I'll ask
the owners for purrs and will be thinking and sending wishes for healthy
thoughts for him to make it. You and your neighbor are good people,
Helen. Thank you.

The plan is that if he makes it, PACT will be putting his story in their
newletter, so see if folk will send them donations to cover his vet bill. I
hope he does make it.

He's made it this far, I'm sure now he'll be okay thanks to your
intervention.

Sad news... he's passed away. He slipped quietly away a bit earlier. Just
spoken with PACT. He was in the warm, quiet, but he just slipped away.
Whatever it was that was the infection, just couldn't be stabilised. Poor
wee mite.

So sorry to hear that. At least he had at reasonably comfortable for
the last bit of his time here. Now he is at 'Bridge happy and healthy
and with a lot of new friends.

God bless all yous that tried to help him and made his last few days
here better for him.

I'm sorry to hear this, but it's better that he passed away with everything
being done for him than outside, sh*tt8ng himself inside out with no-one to
care.
Bless you for trying to save this little chap. Your karma is well improved.
Yes, I know that wasn't a consideration but that makes it even better.
If I had to choose a religion I would incline towards Buddhism, far from my
Church of England upbringing. I would like to think that the good I did is
repaid in some way and I cannot bring myself to step on a snail that is
eating my plants, like others seem ok with. My heart sinks if I do it
accidentally by going outside in the dark when it's raining. Crunch. OMG.

A lot of my family are Mormons, I've said this before. I tried it when I
was 15 but it was not for me. I respect the faith but am resisting my aunt
saying atm "you would have so many friends if you joined the church"
Yes. I suppose I would., except I do not believe in Joseph Smith and I doubt
if they would want to talk about my poultry and cats, and ex-dogs so it will
be a pass on this. It's an all-compassing religion that takes over 365.

It is not for me. I sort of have a religion of my own. Treat
everyone/anything like you'd like to be treated yourself. Do no harm in
the environment as much as you can. Help anything/anyone that needs it if
you can.
And excuse me when I am grumpy ;-)
