Default Brother purrs

When we did the group purr activity, one of the entries was for my
brother, Pat. He had a hip replacement a couple years ago, and is
looking at getting another soon. He's been having problems with the new
hip, so he went to see his doc today.

The reason he needed the hip replacement was that he has osteonecrosis.
Basically, his bone is dying. The reason his new hip is giving him
problems is that the osteonecrosis is spreading. The most recent news is
that it has spread to his spine - his lower 3 vertebrae are now dying off.

This has the potential to cause great difficulty in his life. We're all
purring that the disease will slow it's spread and he'll have a good
many years left before he has serious problems from it. Extra purrs
would be appreciated.

Purrs for Pat, and for the rest of the family, too.
