Default Missing Dulce Mae

We have a stuffed black cat with a shiny orange hat. I picked it up and
cuddled it a little last night, in memory of Dulce Mae.

When we went to bed, I sat it on the dresser where Dulce Mae used to
lay, and tease me with her tail. Little Boy laid on the dresser, and
cuddled up next to it. I think he was crying too.

Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

They do mourn along with us. Sorry for both of you.

And now I'm crying also :-( Hug the stuffed kitty some more if it helps.
Better yet, hug your other kitties and let their purrs help the healing
begin. Sending lots of loud Sweety-purrs your way.

It's pretty bad atm, isn't it? I thought I would die of grief when I lost
my heart dog.
Know that I feel your sadness, Mark.

One reason I adopted Cendrillon when her original owner abandoned her
was that Melisande was so clearly mourning for Patches (who developed
skin cancer and had to be PTS). Originally I was just going to foster
Cendri until we could find a home for her, but she and Meli bonded so
well it seemed a pity to separate them. (Although having to unexpectedly
having to pay for spaying her when I'd assumed the vet who declawed her
had taken care of it was a factor, too.)

Purrs continue for your loss. There really aren't any words but you
know what I'm trying to say. (hugs)
