Default Hide and seek with a cat.-Mary

Spazzie is still not eating. She couldn't be getting any of Tiger's
food. She has the run of the house but continues to spend almost all of
her time on my bed. Tiger usually empties his plate and I wash his
dishes before I go to bed. There is no food left out except hers. I
have a can of Fancy Feast which I am going to try to tempt her with.
Other than eating she seems to be happy and loving.

Okay, that answers my question. I thought perhaps she was getting into
Tiger's food during the night or when you aren't around, but that theory
doesn't hold up since Tiger empties his plate. I still think this is just
stress from moving into a new environment, but I would also want to have a
checkup. You might want to phone your vet first and see if he/she has any
suggestions. I do think Spazzie will start eating when she gets hungry
enough.

I put some Fancy Feast on a plate and Spazzie ate it. I put the rest of
the can on the plate and during the night someone ate it all - probably
Tiger. Today I will get some more. The Hills (that the shelter gave
me) has not been touched. This morning I opened a can of Chicken Soup
for the Cat Lover's Soul. Tiger liked it but Spazzie wasn't interested.
