Default Blood pressure raised again!

I knew it would happen eventually, Bonnie would get bold enough to
sneak past me and explore the hallway. So I put my shopping down and
went to retrieve her. She was sitting outside Esther's flat upstairs
so I tried calling her down and she did start to come to me but being
a kitten she was then distrated by something and started looking
through the bannister....then she leant a bit far forward and lost
her balance. She was about to fall all the way to the ground floor!
She realised this and started to panic and I wasn't going to be able
to grab her. Luckily she somehow managed to get back to safety at
which point she got grabbed and carted back indoors whilst my pulse
slowed down to something approaching normal

They do have their ways of terrifying us. I'm glad this story had a happy
ending.

You have to be diligent! This is why I wouldn't have a kitten. Nothing
against having a kitten, but they're sneaky little things Persia was
sneaky enough at 2-3 years old. I can't imagine having to worry about
anything younger. One thing I have learned: cats are smart. Cats are
wiley. If they want to do something they'll find a way to do it

Maybe it's not only cats who have nine lives, but the humans who care
for them as well. I think we need them, too!

If an animal does something, they call it instinct. If we do exactly
the same thing for the same reason, they call it intelligence.
