Default Older Cat Vomiting Issue

My 13-14 year-old cat Abby is having trouble keeping her food down. It's not
a constant problem, but it's a messy one. It comes up almost immediately
after eating and is usually barely digested, so I don't even know if it's
made it to her stomach. I've tried cutting her portions back to 1/4 cup 4
times a day, but it still happens occasionally. I even feed her the Purina
formula for mature cats.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hugs,

My cats vomited a lot until I upgraded to a better food. I was
feeding them Purina Cat Chow, thinking that was a good quality
food. It isn't. Try Purina O.N.E. or better.

I had to do the 1/4 cup at a time also and Mr. Bonkers still threw up
occasionally. I than switched from Purina one weight control to Science Diet
for Sensitive Stomachs and no more throwing up. But Mr. Bonkers is only 1
year old and did it ever since he was little. I have to think that something
maybe wrong with a 13 year old cat that suddenly starts throwing up.

THe only thing bad about the Science Diet food is that he loves it. He
chows right down which makes his weight control program very difficult. I
finally ended up buying an autopet feeder so that he gets precise amounts
several times a day and there is no human to feel sorry for him when he
starts begging.
