Default New outdoor kitty - seeking advice

I just wanted to update everyone here. I eventually took Misu to the
vet today. Unfortunately it turns out he was sick. I kind of suspected
he might be, as he was a bit lethargic at times, had blood in his
stool and was ALWAYS rubbing up against me, almost as if he were
asking for help.

Anyway, he had late stage FeLV. The only sensible option was to have
him put to sleep, as he would have died a painful death otherwise.

Thank you so much for your advice and thoughts. I'm going to have to
do my best to not get attached to outdoor cats anymore. I can't stand
the pain.

A sad ending to a story. Sorry to hear the news.
