Default Cat In Need, Sacramento, Ca

Ive never posted here but some friends of mine suggested I try
this.....
Do any of you know of someone who will take in a very tame loving house
cat? Its a female cat who is a lap sitter she loves to cuddle...She's
about 3 yrs old and is not spayed. A friend of ours could not keep her
and so we took her in a few months ago.
Recently we took in a new cat in our house and the two do not get
along. I feel terrible about surrendering her to the pound since she
is just so loveable. If anyone has any information or suggestions
please email me at
P.S. Ive called several of the rescure groups and so far have hit a
wall every time.

There is no need to give this cat up. There are a few things you need to
do. First, get this cat spayed ASAP. Not doing so puts her at increasing
risk for cancer and a deadly uterine infection, not to mention the
possibility of pregnancy, which will only contribute to the already
overwhelming overpopulation problem.
Second, *completely* separate the cats for a week or two (you can
alternate where they are) and allow no contact, then start over and do a
very slow introduction. You can learn more about how to do that he

providence moves too. A whole stream of events issues from the decision,

material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his
way."
