Well for all us roadrunner people with out warning they cancelled our
newsgroups access. Even though I knew threw the groups that they were going
to do this. They never sent an email or announcement out to us at least to
me nothing threw email or on my bill. So I spent the morning on the phone
have a nice chat with quite a few people. In the end got a free month of
service due to the inconvenience.

But on the other hand they gave use free access to www.newshosting.com but
as my chat went along I looked at the newsgroup lists now they go rid of
the groups so no one can have access to child porn guess what this server
has full access to all the child porn groups from pre- teen to Lolita
binaries. Now time Warner and the others did not want to allow its
customers access to these groups. Good going idiots

Now on the good note Ka'Shay is 2 years old today

Wait, you mean I can get a free month out of this?

I was able to since they did not properly notify central Florida users. Yu
got to check your statement and bill. they did to some users but it took
about an hour and 7 different people to get someone to finally do something

I figured you be glued to the Oympics right now Victor ;-)

I was against having the Olympics where they're having it, but
since noticing the thread re Speedos, let me know when the
water polo competition happens. My son played water polo in
high school for years and one of the non-public facts I learned
was that as well as fighting for the ball in plain sight one of
the unstated goals is to get the Speedo off your opponent
*underwater* during the battle, thus hampering his action
for whatever time. Did you know this, Victor? LOL.

As a former (oh, so former) water polo player myself, I hate to
disappoint you, but at least here the water polo players have special
reinforced bathing suits and trunks for that reason exactly. Opposing
players control the location of each other by holding on to the suits
underwater, that way they can watch the ball and still know where the
other player is. Do they actually use quite ordinary, non-reinforced
ones in the US?

We got our bill yesterday, I'll take a look. I normally just shred it,
as the bill gets paid automatically.

I figured you be glued to the Oympics right now Victor ;-)

I keep forgetting the trials are on, I haven't watched any TV in days!

We are talking water polo of the early 80's...high school water polo
and only males allowed as it was considered too rough for girls in
that area at least. Guess you Finns are tougher than valley girls
of that time, LOL. I never saw anything odd about the Speedo my
son wore, so guess they either didn't know about reinforcing them
or considered them too expensive....I remember paying for his
replacements frequently. I didn't like his coach very much who was
a typical "macho" man...only attended one "meet"- my son's mom
was very much a typical valley girl mall rat, valley-speak and all,
LOL.
If you ever saw a movie called "Clueless" that's the way we talked
and I'm not kidding....I remember wishing he had gone in for surfing
instead.

I played water polo in the 80's too. The girls/ladies started playing
then with only three teams in Finland, one in Kuopio, one in Turku and
us in the Helsinki-Espoo area. We used suits with the brand name Diana,
an Italian brand, but I can't seem to find any pics of their products,
even on their own site even though they do talk about their water polo
equipment.
The trunks have a kind of rubbery surface over the bathing suit
material. The ladies' suits had the same rubbery reinforcement along the
edges of the suit where one would usually grab hold of.

Found a UK shop with Diana trunks:
