I've lit a very special candle tonight.....

Hobbes was a venerable member of the group. *I still remember him as a curious adolescent only-cat with just a few minor run-ins with automatic garage doors, coffee grounds, and the like. *In the end, he presided over a large family. lol Tak. You have the most incredible memory! I was thinking about Hobbes and the garage door this afternoon. He scared me so badly that day that he got trapped under the garage door. Of course that same day I slammed his tail in car door. Its a wonder he decided to stay with us. Thank you all for your messages and the candles. I have printed all of the candles so that I can read them over again in the days to come. It has been a long day today and I am going to bed soon, but I wanted everyone to know how much your condolences mean to me. {{{{{To All of RPCA}}}} Julie |

Shmogg was my firstborn, too, and went through so much of my turbulant younger years with a loyalty that would put a dog to shame. Joel was a decent fellow and treated his furry stepchild well, although those two never shared the bond that Shmogg & I had. Fluffy is the firstborn of Joel & I and will break our hearts all over again when she passes (she's still going strong, although keeps aggravating her bad knee by trying to be a puppy and jumping up when she's really a geriatric old lady). Hugs & purrs once again to you & Rusty. May the day when you remember Hobbes with a smile rather than tear be close.
