Memphis changes character!

While we all went away over Easter, Memphis and Phoenix were very well
looked after by the breeder they came from.
An interesting change has come over Memphis ever since. He actually gets up
on my lap! He curls up, has head rubs and goes to sleep on me. This is
something he has not done since kittenhood!
He still won't do it for anyone else, I am obviously the slave of choice,
and he gives Phoenix the evil eye when he dares use my lap. Memphis also
will head butt me awake in the morning, while purring loudly. I am hoping
that this continues into winter, he makes a great leg warmer and it's lovely
to sink my fingers into his silky thick coat giving him tummy rubs too!

Aww, how nice! Maybe I should take Miranda back to my niece for a bit. I
miss having her in my lap (Mir, not my niece, OK maybe I miss having her
in my lap too, but she's in her twenties now and taller than me). When
Mir mir was a kitten, she would spend a lot of time on top of me, my
lap, my shoulder. Not any more.
