Cats are Eating My Dinner
I'm starting to get really protective of my dinner as Omar and Midnight and
even Oreo at times are not above stealing my hard-earned dinner right from under my nose. Tonight, Midnight was helping herself to leftover chicken soup from the dish that my son put up on the counter after dinner; that wasn't so bad, but while I was shooing her down, Omar (!) pawed a noodle out of my soup bowl (!) and ran off with it --- ack! Sort of funny, though, 'cause he obviously had thought he'd made off with a morsel of chicken and seemed rather disappointed it only a mere noodle. Sooo, immediately afterward I started thinking about song titles for this -- how about "More Than a Noodle..." (to the tune of "More Than a Feeling") or "Where Have All the Noodles Gone? (to "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?") or "I've Been to the Table Where There Wasn't Much Left" ("I've Been Through the Desert On a Horse with No Name") Christine |

In the "old days" farmers and ranchers always fed their animals before they ate. MLB |
