Default Red dot bug as alternative

So Karen mentioned the idea of playing with Spicey. This is an excellent
idea, but I do have to mind *how* I play with her, plus the fact that my
existence doesn't put her in the most playful mood.

One toy that I decided was out, at least at first, is a cat dancer or a
wand toy. Most cats love these. But Suz was physically never able to play
this way with Spicey. I'm pretty sure that to Spicey, the sight of me
coming at her with a cat charmer would be like the sight of William Wallace
coming at you with a flail. FREEEEDOOOOMMMM!!!

But! One toy that I thought might work is a laser. No getting close, no
suspicious hoomin holding a stick, just a mysterious red bug on the wall.
Did I try? Oh yes. Spicey was fascinated - but didn't attack the red dot
bug. I'll certainly be trying again.

The fact that he was fascinated is a good sign.
