Oblong skin lesions in cat; skin condition or neighbor's tomcat?
Hello
I have a 7 yr old or so gray tabby cat at 16lbs, Big Boy, who has gotten several skin lesions on his belly, front, and rear. I won't rule out a cat vs cat encounter but wonder why there are so darned many and if there is a disease causing this. They seem so round and look like divots chunked out of his top skin with minor bleeding. Thanks Reply as I don't get here often Ken |

Or, it may even be just a bad immune system and not identifiable. Do they heal well? Karen |

I would take your cat to the vet and see what he/she says. It's probably treatable with some type of topical medication. They seem so round and
look like divots chunked out of his top skin with minor bleeding. Sounds like ringworm. It's contageous to cats and humans. They are round bald patches of skin with a red dot in the middle. Sounds like a vet visit is needed. |
