Willow who is so cold blooded I have to have a heating pad for her in the
winter, lays on top of my portable A/C unit and hangs her front side over

the vents. It is just wide enough on top for her to hang on for dear life.

Mine don't like it. I leave it on the the bedroom when it's over 90
but they're never in it when I get home. Mostly they just plop on the
floor somewhere. I'm just wasting money so I think I'll just leave the
fan going when it gets hot.

Does anyone have cats that do appreciate a/c?

Mine love the the air conditioner. We always have one in our bed room and
they will go in there to keep cool. We have a cat door in our bedroom door
for them.

This year we put an A/C in a window downstairs because we have been having
temperatures 95 to 100 with high humidity. The cats will lay so they feel
the cool air blowing out.

TuTu doesn't like air conditioning. As soon as it comes on she asks to
go out on the enclosed patio. I tell her she is a half-baked cat. She
doesn't mind a fan and will lie in front of one, but no a.c.

That's more like my cats. They sleep with me in the A/C, but that's
because it's where I am. When I leave the bedroom, so do they.

The folks who owned the house before me had thick carpets on the
floors, so the doors are actually cut a bit high on the bottoms -
instead of a tight fit on the door sill the doors are about an inch
above. That leaves plenty of room for a nice breeze to escape under
the door, and Marlo likes to lie outside the room and enjoy the
breeze.

They're all so weird.
