Excuse me for shouting but:

I got a phone call awhile ago I thought I would never get. GEORGE CALLED. He
woke up from the coma he was in on Monday. He had been asleep, for lack of
better way to say it, since April 27. He wouldn't let anyone call me until
he knew he was sure he was going to make it. Walks with a walker and the
memory loss are the things he has to work on.

He has a lot of short term memory loss but is in remarkable mind for what he
has been through. He called on his way home, from North Carolina, with his
brother driving him home.

Don't let anyone every say prayers and purrs don't work.

He has a long road ahead of him but, he will have plenty of people and cats
beside him. This seldom happens but in the movies. That they wake up and
know much of anything.
