I have the misfortune of living in the same area as PeTA's
headquarters. Our local newspaper is always filled with letters to
the editor which could only come from PeTA members and officials. The
entire thrust of their propaganda is to push vegetarianism; any caring
for animals is decidedly secondary. For example, there have been
strong suspicions that PeTA has been funding ALF - animal rights
terrorists - who just lately released 10,000 farmed mink into the wild
in the Cascades. The mink proceded to eat every living animal they
could catch in the area, even their own kind. Mink farmers know how
to treat mink, not ALF or PeTA!

We humans clearly arose as hunter-gatherers; i.e., omnivores. Our
ancestors couldn't find enough foodstuffs to gather to afford to be
vegetarians. But, then, PeTA doesn't care much about humans in any
case. I say "No meat; no meal."

A safe form of anti freeze has been on the market for over five years.
I've used it exclusively since then. The problem is that consumers are
not interested in paying an extra $2-3 a gallon for the safe stuff.


Or they don't know about it.

I know I didn't.

Then again, I don't really use the stuff, either. My car goes to the car
doctor for any problems. heh

I don't suppose you know a brand name here in the states? I'd like to
list it (and any others that are safer) on my web page.

that this can be happening!

I grew up with my father raising chickens as part of the food effort
in WWII. He was from a farm family, and I frequently visited
relatives who raised chickens both for eggs and meat. I _never_ saw
chickens boiled alive. They were always killed, heads cut off, blood
allowed to drain off, THEN the carcasses were dunked in boiling water
to make for easier plucking. We may be receiving a bit of propaganda
here.
