Liz (was: Unexplained weight loss in 8.5 yr old male cat)
Good morning, I am the original poster regarding my cat. I'm not sure
I quite follow the issue with "adhesions" and how this could be related to my cat. Where would the "adhesions" come from? He is strictly an indoor cat with no prior medical history. Could you please explain further? Thanks. (Liz) wrote in message . com... Thanks for your very informative answers! I'm definately going to read up on this some more. I'm sure you've helped more people than just me. ~Shelly~ You´re very welcome! I was impressed to see how common adhesions are. |

Since your cat´s biochemistry seems fine according to blood and urine panel and the vet couldn´t see his organs as clearly as she expected in the x-ray, I thought of adhesions. Adhesions can be caused by previous abdominal surgery (which does not seem to be the case from you current post) or from some diseases. The ultrasound will show it if that´s the case. |
