Snoring?

... Opie snores quite loudly. He sleeps next to my wife and the other night I thought it was her snoring he was so loud. He is a big boy, 14 lbs, and the only one of the Fabulous Four who snores. He has been snoring since her was a kitten. Vet says some cats just snore. Any others have snorers? Ernie snores/wheezes in his sleep - bit time! So does Ping (resident Meezer). -- ^..^ This is Kitty. As soon as she gets completely relaxed the wheezing begins. She has been to a couple different vets asking if its dangerous, but they both said it's nothing to worry about unless it gets quite a bit worse. |

Shmogg made a deep (and relatively quiet) snuffly purry snore, which is how I knew he was deeply asleep rather than just dozing. It was a very reassuring, comforting sound at night and by Bast I miss it. Yowie -- If you're paddling upstream in a canoe and a wheel falls off, how many pancakes can you fit in a doghouse? None, icecream doesn't have bones. |

Any others have snorers? Splodge used to snore heavily. Marion said he sounded just like me. (He also sneezed like me, really violently). But something seems to have changed - he now doesn't snore at all, sneezes very rarely, and he no longer gets oozy eyes. I guess some allergen isn't affecting him any more. I had thought it was just a result of his squashed-in Persian face, which is about as extreme as it gets - the moral may be that you shouldn't just take respiratory problems in Persians as inevitable. My snoring seems to have been a precursor to heart disease. Now I'm on four different heart medications, I'm not snoring. ==== j a c k at c a m p i n . m e . u k === http://www.campin.me.uk ==== Jack Campin, 11 Third St, Newtongrange EH22 4PU, Scotland == mob 07800 739 557 CD-ROMs and free stuff: Scottish music, food intolerance, and Mac logic fonts ****** I killfile Google posts - email me if you want to be whitelisted ****** |

Caliban snores, and Frank was a snorer. Come to think of it, I've only experienced male snorers (among the feline population). My sister's cat, Linus, also snores. You can hear him from the next room. Caliban also snores loudly. Once, I woke up in the middle of the night to his snoring (he was sleeping at my feet). He also makes other noises while asleep. Sometimes he moans. It's a very spooky sound, and I've awoken in the middle of the night to it. It really sounds like a ghost. I don't know what terrible nightmares he has, to make such noises. Dante makes his ridiculous piggy noises of course, but Stinky used to make these adorable little "tooting" noises when he exhaled. -- Theresa and Dante Stinky Forever: http://pets.webshots.com/album/125591586JWEFwh |
